As our Welder, you will ensure the manufacturing and assembly operations of our business generating a consistently suitable output of products, that meet required quality standards. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor. On a given day, you might find yourself working on these responsibilities: (Please note this is what the role may include but it is not limited to only what is on this list) Administrative - Ensuring jobs are processed by order of priority through proper use of dispatch or as instructed. Welding – Performing welding on a variety of materials including aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel. Inventory, Parts, and Equipment Maintenance Quality Control - Detecting and reporting defective material Safety - Meeting all monthly safety requirements as established by the HSE Department among other responsibilities. Qualifications The Challenge To thrive, you should have: A High school diploma or equivalent 2 years trades training and/or minimum one year experience in an industrial environment Knowledge of blueprints and layout work Ability to perform TIG welding on thin gauge stainless steel material Ability to purge weld stainless steel tubing to provide sanitary quality weld Ability to perform MIG welding on a variety of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel Knowledge of standard weld symbols Knowledge of weld grinding & polishing techniques Here is how you can stand out: If you Formal welding training Advance knowledge of blueprints and layout work Must be able to pass the Welding Skills test during interview process as administered on-site by JBT management. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be physically capable of: Working 10 hours per day, 6 days a week for 12 months Working around moving industrial machinery Using hand tools Lifting parts or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
