ADP Business Development Strategy Manager in Florham Park, New Jersey

ADP is hiring a Manager of Business Development Strategy. The Manager of Strategy will partner closely with ADP’s Small Business Services’ business development team to create and continually improve our business development strategy and lead strategic initiatives that drive shareholder value.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, develop and drive long-term strategies based on fact-based analyses

  • Conduct in-depth market assessments to identify opportunities and risks

  • Partner with ADP functions and business units to build strategies and successfully implement solutions

  • Drive and lead business development strategy projects and initiatives

  • Work closely with business leaders to develop and execute recommendations

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 5 years directly related experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • MBA Preferred

  • Typically experience pre-MBA; experience in a consulting firm preferred

  • Experience developing and evaluating strategies: identifying and framing issues, developing hypotheses, conducting market research and analyses to test key hypotheses, developing execution plans

  • Comfort with reading and using financial statements

  • Strong analytical and visualization skills

  • Experience solving complex problems; taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions

  • Proven ability to analyze and simplify complex challenges and strategies for consumption by an executive audience.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Mastery and experience in conducting environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies.

  • Skilled at conducting market research, analyses, and evaluation frameworks.

  • Exceptional oral and written communications.

  • Proven ability to be proactive and action oriented.

  • Ability to influence others in a matrixed environment versus direct leadership.

  • Ability to work independently, with minimum guidance on complex situations.

  • Ability to travel Up to 10% depending on specific projects.
