Position: Certified Veterinary Technician Location: [Florence, OR] Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: As a Certified Veterinary Technician at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in assisting our veterinarians and ensuring top-notch care for our animal patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing various medical tests and procedures under the direction of veterinarians. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians. Monitoring anesthesia during surgeries and assisting in surgical procedures. Conducting laboratory tests (e.g., blood work, urinalysis) and analyzing results. Assisting with dental cleanings and procedures. Educating clients on animal care and treatments. Qualifications: Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) required. Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic preferred. Proficient in handling and restraining animals.
