Job Description
This position is with Bosch Automotive Steering, within the Human Resources department. This position will provide meaningful hands-on work experience in related field of study. Get a chance to leave your mark on Bosch processes and learn about HR and how multi-faceted it really is. In this role, you’ll be given projects and the freedom to propose your own suggestions and run with them.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to the following
Opportunity to observe and actively participate in several facets of a business environment – learning and proposing own ideas in projects
Will be actively involved in supporting plant-wide and cross-functional projects
Support the day-to-day function of Human resources
Recruiting – career fairs, etc.
Wellness/Diversity initiatives
Administrative maintenance – payroll, timekeeping, SAP, internal job application processing
Supporting the implementation of the Bosch communication concept
Assisting in the development of creative marketing and communication activities
Coordinating with internal and external agencies to create graphic designs
Developing content for all communication channels (newsletter, plant-wide emails, projects, internal social media platform)
Student will be required to complete and End of Term presentation to Hiring Managers
Qualifications
Intern Program Requirements:
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Actively enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate/PhD program OR within 1 year of graduation date
Demonstrate high potential, including suitable academic achievement, extracurricular participation and community service
HR Internship Specific Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
- Student enrolled Bachelors or Masters degree program, preferably Human Resources, Communications or Business related
Qualifications/Competency:
Skills in Microsoft Office, (Word, Power Point and Excel)
Organized, proactive, self-starter
Excellent communication skills
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred but not required
