$16.11 - 19.97 (based on full-time years' experience)

Position Summary:

Provides care to patients with acute psychiatric disorders under the direction of a registered nurse. Responsible for recording and reporting patient's status, conditions and outcome of care to facilitate the treatment process.

Required:

• Associates degree in humanservices field or science or high school diploma with three years providingdirect patient care in an inpatient psychiatric unit or residential setting or5 years relevant experience in human services (social services, lawenforcement, community mental health, or criminal justice).

Preferred:

• Certification as PsychiatricTechnician Previous experience working on an inpatient or partial hospitalpsychiatric unit
