Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee highway and road safety projects. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the company, contractors, MDOT, and vendors. Responsibilities include managing contracts and plans related to MDOT, overseeing a division that includes Superintendents, foremen, and laborers, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications, delegating tasks based on team expertise and project demands, and enforcing safety protocols across all crews and employees.
Hard Skills
Experience with MDOT contracts and plans
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Knowledge of Labor Charts and MDOT Contract Inquiry
Understanding of structural foundations, fencing, and road safety installations such as road signs, guardrails, and high tension cable barriers
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and delegation skills
Excellent communication and liaison abilities
Ability to train and enforce safety standards
Time management and prioritization
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Flint, Michigan.
Work Environment
This role requires managing multiple project sites and teams, ensuring efficient and safe execution of road safety projects. The work involves both office-based planning and on-site project oversight.
