Reports to: Guest Services Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay Rate: $15.97 per hour

This is a part-time position that primarily works 18-28 hours per week during nights and weekends.  Must also must be available during the weekdays as needed.  The selected candidate must be available Thursday-Saturday nights and weekends.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

The Guest Services Keyholder serves as an assistant to both the Guest Services Manager and Assistant Manager.  This position oversees the operation of facilities during the absence of the Guest Services Manager and/or Assistant Manager and is responsible for opening and closing the facilities.  The Keyholder is responsible for cashing out sales at the end of the day and in completing daily reports accurately.  The Keyholder is responsible for making sure that visitors receive the highest quality of service possible.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Opens and closes building. Sets and turns off alarms as required.
  2. Assists Guest Services Manager / Assistant Manager by overseeing daily operations of work areas.
  3. Closes out cash drawers. 
  4. Completes and ensures accuracy of daily reports at end of workday.  
  5. Supervises Guest Services Representatives when Guest Services Manager /Assistant manager are not present.
  6. Carries out or oversees all of the duties of the Guest Services Representative as needed.  This includes: 
  • Collects admission fees and handles gift shop sales
  • Oversees daily operations of work areas
  • Provides visitors with information as needed
  • Prepares facilities for the business day
  • Conducts regular walks around facility to ensure Gallery spaces are in working order and presentable.
  • Assists other departments as needed and if possible.
  • Ensures visitors receives the highest quality of service possible.

Requirements

  1. High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
  2. Previous supervisory experience preferred
  3. Excellent customer service skills
  4. POS experience
  5. A positive, friendly demeanor
