Job Title: Excavator Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to handle a range of excavation and site preparation projects. The role involves operating various types of excavators, from large (45 tons) to mini and midi (1-10 tons), and includes tasks such as fine grading, pull grading, and swapping out attachments and buckets.

Responsibilities

  • Operate large excavators (45 tons)

  • Operate crawler excavators (10-45 tons)

  • Operate mini and midi excavators (1-10 tons)

  • Perform excavation and site preparation projects

  • Conduct fine grading and pull grading using excavators

  • Swap out attachments and buckets as needed

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in operating large, crawler, mini, and midi excavators

  • Experience in excavation and site preparation

  • Ability to perform fine grading and pull grading

  • Skill in swapping out attachments and buckets

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in building retaining walls and prepping sites for similar projects

  • Knowledge of large-scale retaining wall projects

  • Familiarity with large-scale MSE walls

  • Experience with pedestal patio paver projects

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flint, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00
