Magna-Power Electronics, a Flemington, New Jersey based electronics manufacturer, is seeking a Facilities Manager to join its dedicated world class team. The Facility Manager is responsible for maintaining the optimal functioning of the company's facilities. This includes managing building maintenance, overseeing equipment integration, and ensuring comprehensive safety programs. You'll coordinate facility projects, manage external contractors, and support engineering teams when needed. This is a pivotal role requiring hands-on skills across multiple areas of building maintenance and facilities management. Given the complex nature of the products, there will be significant hands-on training and interaction with various Magna-Power teams.

Key responsibilities for the Facilities Manager includes:

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and management of the company's buildings and grounds.

  • Develop and implement regular maintenance schedules for the facility.

  • Coordinate with external contractors for facility renovation projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.

  • Lead the integration of new machinery and equipment, collaborating with technical and engineering teams for smooth installation.

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and implementing corrective measures.

  • Manage facility-related emergencies and unexpected repairs to restore operations promptly.

  • Implement cost-saving measures where possible and monitor expenditures.

  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the facilities team.

    Qualifications for the position are as follows:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in facility management, building maintenance, or a related field.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
