Job descriptionHR Training CoordinatorThe Training Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Quality Assurance and Program Support Services. The Training Coordinator will organize, monitor and schedule all agency training. Responsible for maintaining training tools and resources for the agency. The Training Coordinator will maintain communication with program supervisors to determine and meet training needs of the programs as well as review and distribute training seminar information and coordinate registrations. Coordinate agency trainings, design and develop training curricula as needed.Candidates for this position must have education and experience in DD/ID care and education, strong training and coaching skills, and be committed to supporting the full continuum of Residential and Day Programs staff.Responsibilities:Train new hires on Arc/Morris, and DDD policies, guidelines and procedures and use the best training methods as required.Coordinate all aspects of pre-employment and on employment training: establish and distribute monthly calendar, schedule, organize, and communicate with supervisory staff, and follow-up with documentation.Manage required re-certification training: CPR, First Aid and Crisis Management.Ensure adequate number of available trainers, schedule trainers for each session, provide training, monitor quality of training sessions and provide feedback to trainers.Coordinate all employee requests for external training: registration, payment and evaluation.Work in conjunction with program staff to respond to identified training needs.Attend designated training meetings.Perform other duties as assigned by director of Organizational Development and Senior Management StaffCreate training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the companyAttend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities and manage the budget set for training.SkillsExcellent communication skills.Good interpersonal skills.Good decision-making skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.Significant work experience as a trainer, training facilitator, or organizing multiple training events, preferably in a non-profit environmentProven track record, showing the ability to successfully complete the full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize workRequirementsBachelor's degree in Training, HR, Communication or related field with two years of supervisory experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office SuitExperience in a Non-Profit Organization a plusARC Morris provided the following inclusive hiring information:Paid time offBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork RemotelyNoEducation:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Training Coordinator: 2 years (Preferred)Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to Friday
