Aerotek Production Supervisor in Fitchburg, Wisconsin
Job Description
Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the second shift operations. Our primary products include portable dance floors, lunchroom table tops, and deck floors for concert stages, with a significant portion of our production going to schools. This role involves supervising a team of employees, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with the Plant Manager to maintain an efficient and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
Directly supervise assigned employees
Work with the Plant Manager on interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
Plan, assign, and direct work for the team.
Set and communicate expectations for employees and monitor their performance.
Implement training programs to enhance employee skills.
Monitor and maintain product quality standards.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of production/plant supervising experience.
Basic math skills.
Mechanically inclined.
Experience in production supervision, production management, and plant management.
Skills in assembly, production, and safety.
Work Environment & Pay
This position is for the second shift, Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with occasional Fridays and Saturdays for overtime.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00

- Weekend pay (get extra money if they have to come in on Friday/Saturday with the overtime crew)
