The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a part-time Event Desk Clerk to join the team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As an Event Desk Clerk, you will oversee the operations of the guest recreation department and ensure visitors receive the highest quality of service during their stay. Responsibilities
Keep a watchful eye on activities for rule and safety compliance; manage disruptive situations with guests
Clean and inspect sporting equipment, facilities, or grounds
Guide guests on hikes, activities, lead Kid's Camps and Adventure Clubs, care for dogs in an indoor dog park
Follow all Delaware North Parks and Resorts policies and procedures
Qualifications
Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect guest and employee safety
Ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and know when to involve a supervisor
Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures
No high school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds frequently
Ability to stand, walk and hike for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to bend and stoop frequently
