Field Application Engineer for Connectors, Passives, Relays

Job Description:

As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting net of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.

As a Field Application Engineer , you'll be working in in the technical department in tandem with sales representatives to sell and promote solutions regarding interconnect, passive and electromechanical products to our customers. You'll be delivering customized solutions and providing technical advice and support for customers.

This position can be based within commutable distance to our offices in Castel-Maggiore (Bologna) or Padua.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing technical knowledge and expertise,

• Supporting the business teams in the development, construction of offers to the clients,

• Interacting with the partners, identifying the needs and business opportunities by performing technical consultancy,

• Regular customer visiting,

• Continuously being trained in the latest technologies,

• In cooperation with the sales force, analyze at local level and other engineering departments, the markets and customers where to develop technical proposal actions,

• Support customers' designers with technical proposals within specific macro-technologies.

What We Are Looking For:

• Relevant experience with hardware or IP&E sectors,

• Electronic degree will be positively considered,

• Negotiating skills as well as strong communication skills,

• Strong customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology,

• A real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a strong attitude for new and different challenges, be the best in what you learn,

• Ability to identify and resolve partners issues with excelling at prioritization of the workload,

• Ability to cooperate and to work within the team.
