VCA Animal Hospitals Licensed Veterinary Technician in Findlay, Ohio

Are you looking to join a collaborative team, utilize your technical skills and grow as a registered technician while being part of an AAHA accredited hospital with outstanding patient care and client experience? If so, VCA Findlay Animal Hospital has a position for you! We are looking for a full time skilled licensed technician to join our fast paced 6 doctor practice- so being able to provide excellent patient care, have great communication, keeping a positive attitude and staying organized is imperative.

We offer anything from wellness, surgery and emergency- so there are plenty of areas to utilize your skills. We have the ability to do cold laser therapy, dental radiographs, ultrasound, digital radiology, in house labwork, endoscopy and much more!

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Venipuncture

Catheter placement

Radiology

Animal handling/restraint

Anesthesia monitoring

Surgical preparation and assisting

Dentistry

Patient recovery

In house labwork

Knowledgeable with pharmacy

Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients

Patient assessment

Computer skills

Knowledge of preventative care

Client communication/education

Qualifications:

Hold a current RVT/LVT license

Flexibility in hours-including nights and Saturdays
