Aerotek Commercial Carpenter in Findlay, Ohio
Job Title: Commercial Carpenter, up to $28/hr.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in hanging commercial drywall, creating construction layouts, reading and interpreting blueprints, and measuring, cutting, and shaping wood materials. The role involves assembling and joining structural components, building scaffolding, ensuring proper positioning and alignment of structures, and constructing various wood fixtures. The Carpenter will also be responsible for finishing carpentry tasks including installing wood trim, casework, cabinets, countertops, and concrete form work.
Responsibilities
Hang commercial drywall
Create layouts for construction using hand and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints
Measure, cut, and shape wood materials
Assemble and join structural components
Finish carpentry including installing wood trim, casework, cabinets, countertops, and building forms
Essential Skills
Proficiency in hanging drywall
Experience in residential or commercial construction
Ability to use a banjo or bazooka for taping drywall
Rough framing
Finish carpentry
Cabinetry
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Rough wood framing
Experience in commercial construction
OSHA 10 or willing to obtain
