This is a contract position: 3 months with possible extension This position is onsite: Fife, WA *This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future. Position Summary: The Norwesco company is implementing the SAP Production Planning module and requires a Business Systems Analyst to ensure shop floor requirements have been properly developed. The position requires working knowledge and execution of SAP Shop Floor execution. Working experience of both repetitive and discrete manufacturing processes within SAP including standard shop floor execution processes including PSA fulfilment task, yield reporting, confirmation execution and production efficiency. Candidates should also have experience with SAP project implementation, documenting shop floor execution requirements to the technical project leads. Will require on-site day to day support of the current shop-floor team to understand and properly prepare for the current state transition to SAP. Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties): Lead and support delivery of the SAP implementation across the shop floor execution (Production to Manufacturing). This includes owning all business-related activities that support the implementation plan. Business-related activities include but not limited to the following:

  • Coordination of business process mapping to ensure adequate understanding and communication of key system requirements to the implementation team.
  • Work directly with Shop-Floor supervisor and employees to review the current execution steps. Confirm current shop-floor execution processes have been incorporated into the SAP design.
  • Assist in development of business lead end-user training curriculum program.
  • Development and execution of business lead user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Assist with user-readiness assessment activities.
  • Leverage the SAP deployment methodology and Gibraltar's template to engage business resources for all business-related work products including requirements, testing and training plans, implementation readiness preparation, and go-live/post go-live support plans.

Secondary Accountabilities: Evaluate opportunities to synergize/standardize common processes within support services and operational functional areas, across business units. Partner and collaborate with the business and IT on implementing and adopting the new SAP S/4HANA System. Work directly with Implementation Project Manager to track project tasks, risks, action items, issues, and decisions and ensure timely follow up of these items across the business teams. Conduct frequent, clear, and consistent communication to the client, team members, project steering team, vendor, and other stakeholders. Generate project status reporting and issue/risk mitigation responses for steering committee. Facilitate meetings and interviews with business stakeholders.
