ManpowerGroup Machine Operator 3rd shift in Ferndale, Washington
We are looking to fill Machine Operator position in Ferndale, WA
These roles will be at a facility that manufactures high performing cordage (rope).
Resume must reflect machine operator experience in manufacturing.
Pay Range: $18.00- $24/ hour DOE
Schedule: 3 rd Shift Schedule: 11:00pm – 7:00am
What’s the Job?
Operate production machinery within standard operating procedures (SOPs), follow all safety procedures and requirements, adhere to product constructions (materials, machinery setup, machine operation), maintain a clean work area and comply with 5S.
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs) on production machinery. Troubleshoot production machinery.
Responsible for quality control. Notify lead or supervisor if product does not meet quality specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
Complete production tickets and other required paperwork. Communicate with operators from other shifts.
What’s Needed?
Comfortable working on multiple projects concurrently.
An attentive listener who can hear/perceive the nature of sounds by ear and follow verbal directions.
Capable of gathering, recording, and reporting on operational and quality metrics, through manual or automated systems.
Able to lift 10 – 25 lbs frequently and 25 – 50 lbs occasionally.
