Maritz Manager, Mail & Contracted Services in Fenton, Missouri

Directs all operations of the mail center, including routing, postage, and management of staff. Assists Director overseeing major contract vendors and employees in the provision of various operations; grounds (i.e. landscaping, snow/ice removal/parking repairs; etc.); janitorial/custodial services; waste services; window washing; plant services; holiday decorations; etc., for both the Maritz north and south campuses.

Working in the Fenton location, in office 100% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities

40% - Directs all operations of the mail center overseeing receiving, storage, and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Oversee the coordination of mailings, both internal, U.S.P.S., and private carriers. Instruct departments and organizations on correct mailing/shipping procedures. Oversee day-to-day workflow, including job assignments and scheduling. Ensures that the area is adequately staffed on a daily basis and that all personnel are properly trained. Oversee pick up, delivery and processing of inter-departmental and external (US & Int’l) mail, parcels, and other materials. Operates mailroom machinery including postage metering and performs basic maintenance as needed. Maintains and develops records for billing, inventory, mailing, and parcel shipping. Orders materials and supplies needed for the mail center.

40% - Assists Director overseeing approximately 15-20 contractors; ensuring services provided to internal and external customers are in line with Maritz standards and expectations. Functional areas include grounds maintenance (i.e. landscaping, snow/ice removal/parking repairs; etc.); janitorial/custodial services; waste services; window washing; plant services; holiday decorations; etc., for both the Maritz north and south campuses.

20% - Develops and maintains relationships with vendors, departmental customers, tenant contacts and other related individuals. Monitors customer feedback and makes service adjustments accordingly. Maintains knowledge of current facility management trends in order to ensure Maritz is providing the best services for the best value.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required or equivalent/ bachelor’s degree preferred with 2 -4 years relevant experience.

  • 2+ years management experience

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Thorough understanding of US Postal regulations.

  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize work.

  • Ability to use or learn to use mail center equipment and software.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

  • Ability to drive company van with valid driver’s license.
