Orizon Aerostructures Maintenance Technician in Fenton, Missouri

Summary: The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities: Perform maintenance on equipment, both electrical and mechanical Perform and plan preventative maintenance on machines Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements Reviews daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with minimal interference with production Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service Inspects condition of equipment and components for proper maintenance under warranty agreements Assists with identifying equipment deficiencies and helps to prevent further recurrences Identifies faulty equipment and acquires parts and requests parts and equipment to complete repairs Able to use electrical/electronic diagnostic equipment such as multi-meters, infrared scanning, and other tools as necessary for servicing equipment Able to perform mechanical maintenance/repair on all machines in the facility with little or no supervision Assess, develop continuous improvement ideas, and implement them Use machine controls to move, assess, and diagnose machine tools and troubleshoot issues Apply multiple diagnostic techniques, as needed, to form solutions for machine and machine tool repairs Assess relational machine alignments with micrometers and other standard equipment and make corrections as needed Assess and implement improvements to make machines safer

Qualifications: Demonstrate high degree of industrial mechanic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude and repair abilities required Able to troubleshoot and problem solve mechanical and electrical issues required Minimum of 3 years experience preferred Experience installing, troubleshooting, aligning, and maintaining CNC equipment preferred Continuous improvement experience preferred Experience evaluating Preventive and Planned Machine Maintenance programs preferred Experience working with Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls strongly preferred Experience educating, mentoring, and providing technical guidance to Maintenance Techs strongly preferred Experience using maintenance software required
