Job Overview:

Assisting the Subcontracts Manager, responsible for the performance and direction of all subcontracts commercial and administration work including assisting Project Subcontract Manager or Senior team member to manage the Subcontract activities in the day to day subcontracts activities in the project and functionally to the Area Subcontract Manager-Asia or his designee. Assisting in preparing tendering, and subcontracts administration to perform efficiently, effectively and in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, timelines and adhoc needs from the Project.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide input for Project Subcontract Plan, and responsible to maintain contract documentation, management

  • To perform administration on assigned subcontracts from end to end (pre award to post award). Attention to details and multi-tasking are skills are essential

  • To coordinate the subcontracts bid proposal process, collate of subcontracts document, following up and adhoc requirement

  • Obtain appropriate approvals for various subcontracts document

  • To coordinate meetings like clarifications, kick off, etc.

  • Raising PO and process invoices in ERP or the like system

  • Perform day to day work to be completed with subcontract documentation that are in compliance to procedures with necessary approval documents and traceability as well as closing out all packages

  • Following up on subcontract requirement for the assigned packages such as performance guarantees, insurances, warranties are being submitted in according to the subcontract on time

  • To ass any dispute on claims with subcontractors in consultation with Project Subcontracts Manager

  • Deliver reports required by Project and Function on time for the Subcontracts Manager

  • Provide support to Function on as need basis

Essential Qualifications & Education:

  • Degree in Bachelor’s degree in a quantity surveying, construction, engineering, or the equivalent experience

  • Graduate or with less than 3 years EPC industry work experience preference with offshore projects. Commercial and contractual management experience are essential. Experiences in quantity surveying or Subcontract Management would be preferred

  • Ability to accomplish established objectives within a diverse corporate environment

  • QHSE focus with high ethic in code of conduct

  • An effective problem solver as well as self-starter

  • Knowledge in contracting strategies, contract management of EPC industries

  • Well verse in written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and multi taking skills

  • Excellent team player and ability to meet tight timelines

  • Experience on offshoresubcontracts, vessel chartering would be preferred
