Boehringer Ingelheim Business Analytics and Intelligence Manager in Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Position
The Analytics Manager role gathers, analyses and provides visibility on intelligence (from primary and secondary data sources) regarding products, market conditions, competitors and customers. This role helps to develop a clear picture from complex data to analytics and insights, providing actionable recommendations, in compliance with company guidance and principles. The role also partner to the TA's in driving ICP to execution (BTM, LRR, ELM, ICP & EP) for MSI cluster.
Duties and Responsibilities
Partner to Therapeutic Area to capture and distribute insights on company/brand and market performance, and identify opportunities and challenges:
Acts as a single point of contact for the TA for all analytics, market research and forecasts relating to the therapeutic area.
Partner with TA for analysis required in ICP and as well as any ad hoc business case preparation.
Facilitate in converting ICP into EP for CFT.
Expected to contribute as a partner during the brand team meetings.
Partner with TA for analysis required in Early Launch Matrices and Launch Readiness Review.
Implementation of MSI cluster's initiatives to drive insights driven culture. Undertaking in-depth analysis to gather business and customer insights from diverse and reliable sources, collaborating with TA and third party agencies to ensure all methodologies are appropriate and executed effectively, liaising with ROPU and proactively looking for strategic opportunities to undertake initiatives that will generate competitive advantage and improved understanding.
Working closely with TA on analysis needs depending on business priorities and available capacities.
Lead in GTM KPIs insights & Medical Excellence KPIs Insights. Inform and flag achievements and opportunity for improvement for MSI Cluster deliveries cross functionally.
Managing of MSI cluster primary and secondary data sources from all 3 countries, collaborate closely with ROPU Data team for efficient data operations and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field
5 years of business analysis or a related field.
Strong in business acumen & able to make informed decision, knowledge of core business processes (eg. Sales, Marketing & operations)
Excellent in data visualization, data analysis and reporting. Ability to use tools (eg.Power BI) to present data finding and to create dynamic dashboard.
Expert in turning data into insight, ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Expert in data management, data scripting & database skills
Advanced MS Excel skills, proficiency in functions & pivot for data analysis.
Experience in pharmaceutical industry (added advantage)
Strong personal interaction skills / Team player needed for high degree of cross functional-work
Well-structured and organized
Result and solution driven
Proven Project Management skills
Strong strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions
Experience working on IQVIA or other market data sources (added advantage)
KPI setting/tracking experience
Good communication skills
