BAE Systems Electrical Engineer II in Fe Warren Afb, Wyoming

Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a diligent and proactive individual with a proven high quality work ethic to fill an entry-level position Electrical Engineer II to support the readiness and sustainment of the United States Air Force (USAF) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Weapon System (WS). The individual must hold a valid Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university.

This position focuses on working with the engineering team of the ICBM Infrastructure Division. Involving interpreting and creating specifications, prepare, review and validate As-Built drawings. Manage assignments and meet program schedules. Apply electrical engineering principles and analytical methods and techniques in supporting four ICBM units performing Real Property Installed Equipment and ICBM Infrastructure maintenance.

Possess familiarly with a comprehensive design process including conceptual development, physical design, support to procurement, engineering test, failure root-cause, and integration and support of product qualification. An understanding in the application of physical laws and principles of heat transfer, mechanics of solids and fluids, material science, kinematics, design of machinery, mechanical vibrations, and statistical based process improvement. The work will take advantage of a motivated employee s ability to multi-task in an array of engineering operations. This is an exciting opportunity to get into the Defense industry!

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining As-Built drawing library

  • Update and review graphics applicable to Infrastructure

  • Provide support between multiple agencies

  • Monitor and track workload requirements

  • Division Strategy and Planning

  • Communicate with leadership and customer on all project manage resources available to achieve on-time submissions.

  • Perform quality checks for accuracy and compliance of all engineering changes/updates

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Consider safety in all aspects of work and engineering efforts

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Electrical Engineering degree

  • 2 years of professional working experience

  • Must be willing to travel 25%

  • Knowledge in USAF As-Built/Civil Engineering Manual requirements and specifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $61830 - $105120

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
