Host You like making people smile, have a welcoming nature and like a fast paced work environment. Welcoming people and making them feel at home is in your blood and seeing people eat a good meal makes you happy. As the Host you will:
Be a Friendly Face and Voice- arriving at work on time to get the restaurant/lounge/cafe set up and ready to open, keeping your work area clean and attractive throughout the meal period. In your role you may also handle room service orders as well as cash/credit as you take on the duties of cashier. Be a Host -- taking reservations, seating guests, pouring water, making helpful suggestions, answering questions, remembering names, offering a friendly smile -- and maybe even a weather forecast -- it is all part of the job! Be a Safety & Security Agent -- follow your hotel's established safety and security policies & procedures. Anticipate problems and call management as needed.
