Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CLOUD ENGINEERING TASK LEAD to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for cloud systems plans and strategy; design, development, and deployment of applications into a cloud or hybrid cloud; and implementation of enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing.

  • Cloud Engineering Task Lead responsibilities include architecting and leading the development and integration of cloud-based information and computer systems that meet specific needs, as identified in the TOR.

  • Accountable for the end-to-end cloud deployment experience, from concept development to deployment.

  • Monitors and measures activity and performance of a commercial telecom/IP network.

  • Collects, interprets, and reports network data and individual customer performance data to provide statistics for billing.

  • Exhibits technical and operational proficiency in the primary duties of the job family.

  • Plays a key role in implementing projects and programs in the function.

  • Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of five years of experience supporting cloud architecture design, development, implementation, and maintenance.

  • A minimum of five years of experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Software as a Service (SaaS).

  • A minimum of three years experience utilizing Agile development methodologies and Application Lifecycle Management.

  • Minimum of two years of experience developing cloud system plans and strategy.

  • Minimum of three years of experience designing, developing and deploying applications into a cloud or hybrid cloud environment.

  • Minimum of one cloud professional certification.

  • Knowledge of providing executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior Government personnel.

  • Must have current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of one year of experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM focus area.

  • One or more ITIL certifications.

  • Multiple cloud related professional certifications such as (Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA) and AWS Solutions Architect).

  • Knowledge of and minimum of three years of experience working with programming languages Java, C++, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Pig/Hive, and Elixir.
