An IT Software Engineer at Arvest is responsible for understanding business problems, designing, developing, configuring, testing, and deploying software to provide the solution. IT Software Engineers work on moderately complex projects with minimal supervision. They contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, most often use Agile techniques, and are a part of a larger, cross-functional team. IT Software Engineers have a passion for learning new languages/technologies to stay on top of the technology wave.

This IT Software Engineer position will maintain ERP applications at Arvest including cloud applications and on prem solutions.

What Youll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Support the development of high-quality application code using emerging technologies and frameworks, primarily targeting cloud-based ecosystems.

Assist with developing design specifications within defined architecture, utilizing current best practices and contribute to feasibility analysis for new systems.

Collaborate with other software development capabilities to iteratively design, develop, validate, and operate new applications/systems and architecture to scale.

Partner with other Software Engineers to update processes and operating procedures.

Clarify requirements with business analysts, project managers, and clients as appropriate.

Provides troubleshooting and technical and operational support with limited guidance.

Contribute to code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

Tests own work and contributes to the development of test plans.

Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank\'s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
