Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Fayetteville, Arkansas. As part of our team, you will be tasked with managing various accounting duties such as handling customer accounts, processing applications, and ensuring accurate record keeping.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Management of accounts payable and receivable as well as recording transactions
• Preparation of invoices and handling of bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintenance and updating of financial records to ensure all data is current and accurate
• Preparation and review of financial reports as needed, adhering to established accounting standards and practices
• Utilization of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, spreadsheets, and financial tracking
• Collaboration with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide accurate financial information
• Management of month-end and year-end closing processes
• Adherence to company policies, procedures, and deadlines while effectively prioritizing tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Must have knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is necessary.
• Prior experience in Bookkeeping is crucial.
• Must demonstrate strong Data Entry skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary.
• Knowledge and experience in Payroll processing is essential.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a crucial requirement.
