Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain credit files with applications, updates, exemption certificates and background information.
  • Establish credit limits by customer based on gathered information from historical experience, industry information, professional credit reporting services, and banking/personal references.
  • Communicate with customers torequest payment{target="_blank" rel="noopener"}and arrange payment plans.
  • Perform daily cash management, including reconciling bank deposits, updating cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the Accounts Receivable sub-ledger.
  • Manage information related to cash applications and/or promised collection receipts while coordinating with the plant to ensure production orders are released accordingly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement by streamlining A/R processes.
  • Support the Controller in maintaining general ledgers and sub ledgers
  • Prepare monthly journal entry calculations and various supporting spreadsheets.
  • Compile weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable reports.
  • Sustain confidentiality while handling sensitive business information.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work with large accounting/ERP systems. Syteline preferred.
  • Demonstrated research and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Communicate with impact and clarity to all levels of business partners.
  • Proven history of handling multiple tasks with accuracy.
  • Strong organization with high attention to detail.
