About the Role:
As a Copy Editor, you will ensure the accuracy and clarity of written content. Your communication skills and attention to detail will be essential in editing content effectively.
Responsibilities:
Edit stories for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Collaborate with reporters to enhance their writing and reporting.
Ensure all stories adhere to Law360 and AP Style.
Handle six to eight news stories daily, with opportunities to develop feature editing skills.
Requirements:
Proficiency in English, Journalism, or a related field at a Bachelor's level
Strong grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.
Experience in copy or sub-editing.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with AP style.
Detail-oriented.
