Provide labor and assistance to asphalt crew in laying asphalt material including shoveling and raking asphalt material, hand grade soil and stone base.  Provide labor and assistance to concrete crew such as raking and shoveling concrete, clean up tools, load and unload forms, help install forms, hand grade sand, soil, and stone base.  Clean trucks and equipment. Provide labor and assistance in restoring landscaping, repairing manholes, installing underground edge drain, storm sewer, water main, and sanitary sewer such as hand digging, hand grading, hand delivering materials, and patching manholes.  Provide labor and assistance to mason such as mixing mortar, hand delivering brick and blocks to masons, and cleaning work areas. Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Some Saturdays may be required. Holidays are off unless an emergency arises. Rainy days are off and days where weather is too bad to work outside. OT hours possible, OT available up to 20 hours. 40 hours per week. No minimum education required. No minimum experience is required. The employee will not supervise other workers. Travel will be required. Daily transportation provided by the employer to worksites. Work will be performed in the following counties: Oakland, Wayne, Washtenaw, Macomb, Kent, Kalamazoo, Jackson, Muskegon, Lapeer, Saint Clair, Midland, Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Saginaw, Bay City, and Ingham counties. Wage: $23.76 /hour, OT Wage varies at: $35.64 /hour. Workers will be paid biweekly. Optional housing available at $1500/month to be deducted from pay if elected. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers' reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $15.46/day during travel to a maximum of $59/day with receipts. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of total employment period.
