Central Alert Inc Fire Alarm Service Tech (Fire Alarm Service Technician) in Farmers Branch, Texas

Position Summary:

Candidates will provide diagnostics, repairs and inspections on fire alarm systems. Abilities for diagnosis and repair of access control and video surveillance systems are a plus. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate must have experience with the following:

  • Must have 2+ years of experience with full life cycle installation of various Fire Alarm devices and systems associated with the fire safety industry.
  • Experience with regard to retail environments preferred.
  • Current Fire Alarm License highly desired
  • NICET, Fire-lite, Honeywell, Notifier, EST or other industry certs highly desired
  • Possess working knowledge National Electric Code (NEC) with regard to the Fire safety industry
  • Any CCTV, access control experience a plus

Must possess:

  • A valid drivers license
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (Vocational/Technical/Business School strongly preferred)
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to pass applicable state and federal background checks
  • Must pass pre employment drug screening
