Actalent Senior Project Manager in Fargo, North Dakota
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager to oversee the construction of a large data center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, particularly in data center projects, and a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the mechanical or electrical aspects of a large data center construction project.
Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry, with a focus on data centers.
Strong knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems in data center environments.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
PMP or similar certification is a plus.
