Sanford Health has an immediate opening for a BC/BE internal medicine physician who desires to focus their practice on hepatology in adult patients. This physician will see patients in clinic and collaborate with our gastroenterology trained transplant hepatologist, advanced practice providers and RN liver care navigator on complex hepatology patients in Fargo, North Dakota.
Busy from day one with robust liver disease clinic
Opportunity to collaborate with two top tier liver transplant programs on shared patients
Monday through Friday clinic with 4.5 day work week/would be open to part time employment
No overnight or weekend call
Opportunity for internal medicine resident and medical student teaching/mentorship
General and Advanced Endoscopy lab for endoscopic procedures
GI/hepatology Clinic with Fibroscan services
Esophageal and anorectal motility lab
Fellowship trained colorectal surgeons
Transplant trained pancreato-biliary surgeons on-site for collaboration
Bariatric Surgery Program
Bi-week GI malignancy case conference with oncology, radiation oncology, IR/radiology, surgical oncology and Gastroenterology
583-bed tertiary referral center (all Fargo/Moorhead area campus)
Excellent position for internal medicine physician wishing to solidify GI/Hepatology skills prior to applying for GI fellowship
