Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Technician in Fargo, North Dakota

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be performing preventative maintenance and repair on industrial baking equipment. You will address and fix minor breaks, perform product changeovers during downtime, and handle different sizes of equipment or line running speeds due to multiple product production. Your responsibilities will also include examining and fixing any breakdowns that occur on the production line, completing the changeover of equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, and keeping machines in top condition by performing preventative maintenance. You will also demonstrate basic math skills, fabricate parts as needed in the on-site shop, and communicate with production supervisors and managers on the status of machines. Please note that candidates will train on the day shift for a few weeks until they are comfortable moving to their designated shift. Some weekends may be required, but employees will be notified well in advance. The schedule is updated a month in advance.

Value Proposition

Most maintenance positions in town work off a rotating schedule, so we are happy to offer a Monday through Friday set schedule with all 3 shifts open! Day, Evening, and Overnight!

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fargo, North Dakota.

Work Environment

The work environment is an industrial food production facility where dough for pizzas, pies, buns, etc., is made. There is flour in the air during mixing and it can get a bit dirty. Masks are provided if desired. All employees are REQUIRED to wear a smock gown, hair/beard nets, hardhat, steel toes, and eye and ear protection. Training takes place from 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri, for approximately 2 months before moving to the shift hired for. Expect to work every other weekend, but days off can be selected with the team. The schedule is done a month in advance.
