Job Title: Carpenter
Job Description
SUMMARY: Responsible for various types of carpentry preparation including operating hand tools, power tools, light equipment, and performing general clean-up duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read a tape measure.
Operate machinery following safety guidelines.
Perform carpentry work as directed by Foreman/Supervisor.
Use manual and power tools.
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
Hard Skills
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Read a tape measure.
Soft Skills
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Work Environment
Outside work. 95% of jobs are local to Fargo/West Fargo/Moorhead.
