Robert Half Systems Administrator in Falls Church, Virginia
Description We are in search of a Systems Administrator to join our team in the insurance industry, based in Falls Church, Virginia. This role involves handling a variety of tasks related to IT infrastructure services, IT solution development, IT strategy, IT project management, and IT help desk support.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/Print Services, Office 365 Tenant and subscriptions, Exchange online user & group management, and SharePoint Document Management System.
• Oversee Azure administration and support, including Azure Computing Resources, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Storage, Virtual Networks, and Azure Resources Backup and Recovery.
• Manage servers, network switches, firewalls, and network attached storage (NAS), including Virtual Hosts and Backup and Recovery Systems.
• Utilize and maintain the Jira IT Service Desk ticketing system, and manage all network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi Network, Wired Network, and Routers/Switches.
• Design end-to-end solutions and oversee their implementation to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Develop technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, and data models.
• Analyze and optimize system performance, ensuring solutions are scalable and efficient.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and execute strategic plans, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT department.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and integration, and conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain, purchase, and manage IT Assets including laptop/desktop computers, tablets, MiFi devices, desktop scanners, network printers, fax, conference and VoIP phones, uninterrupted power supplies (UPS), audiovisual (AV) systems, and peripherals.
• Provide remote and in-person technical support through diagnostic techniques, determining the best solution through the problem-solving process, and regularly communicate with customers and follow up with customers to verify issue resolution.
• Perform IT Security Awareness Training for staff. Requirements • Possess comprehensive knowledge and experience with Cisco Technologies
• Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is required
• Demonstrable experience with Cloud technologies
• Experience in managing database systems
• Familiarity with Dell Technologies is necessary
• Proficiency in AB Testing methodologies
• Extensive knowledge of Active Directory
• Experience with Backup Technologies is crucial
• Demonstrable experience in Cluster Analysis
