Description
Robert Half has a fantastic career opportunity for a Cashier/Customer Service Support. Are you always outgoing and sociable? This could be a great position for you. Expect this role to exist within a dynamic and fast-paced working environment. This Cashier/Customer Service Support position is based in the Falls Church, Virginia region. The hours are Monday to Friday from 12 PM to 7 PM and occasionally Saturdays. Overtime will be paid. if you want to further your career within accounting operations this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
Use electronic scanners, cash registers, or other related equipment.
Compute and record totals of transactions.
Process returns and exchanges for customers as needed.
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash cans.
Resolve customer complaints or refer them to supervisors.
Answer customers' questions and provide information on store policies.
Greet customers when they arrive and thank them when they leave.
Assist with the maintenance of inventory.
Comply with all cash handling and security procedures.
Requirements
Requirements:
1+ years of customer service experience
Prior experience in similar roles is preferred.
Good mathematical skills.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Customer satisfaction oriented.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attentiveness and patience for customers.
The ability to use electronic equipment, like cash registers and POS.
Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
Retail or customer service experience would be preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
