Premier Precision Machining Director of Engineering in FALCONER, New York

Making sure every part that leaves our facility is not only built to our customers specifications, but that it is proudly Made in the U.S.A.The Director of Engineering will oversee product engineering operations and ensure that proper engineering procedures are followed.Supervisory Responsibilities:Plans and coordinates the work of engineering staff.Oversees engineering staff and ensures that they meet goals and objectives.Recruits additional engineering staff as needed.Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.Provides training and mentoring as needed.Duties/Responsibilities:Consults with CEO to create long-range operating and manufacturing goals specific to the needs of the organization.Develops new products from concept to testing to production.Collaborates with marketing department to determine market potential for new products.Oversees progress and timeliness of projects.Reviews project reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.Performs other related duties as required.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development.Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in engineering required; Masters degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.At least ten years of related experience required.Benefits offered: Paid time off.Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement benefitsHealthcare spending/reimbursementCareer DevelopmentVeterans encouraged to applyPremier Precision Machining, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to fostering diversity in its staff, and strongly encourages applications from the entire spectrum of a diverse community.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $125,284.00 - $138,400.00 per year
