Job Description

The Project Control Analyst will support multiple Information Technology programs and maintain financial accounting processes from inception of contract until closure of program/project activities. They will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining labor rates and hours in the financial system, and building and managing financial charge codes. The Project Control Analyst will monitor program financials to determine anomalies to address with program manager and staff.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support and guide project management to monitor project\'s financial performance

{=html} <!-- --> - Monitors, tracks, and reports labor reporting and burn rates for respective programs/projects

{=html} <!-- --> - Uses/builds tools (MS Excel) to analyze utilization of project funding at CLIN/SUBCLIN levels and reports anomalies to program/project manager and staff

{=html} <!-- --> - Audit progress and prepare financial change order information and support documentation

{=html} <!-- --> - Proactively alert program/project managers when anomalies in project finance are detected

{=html} <!-- --> - Review, produce and document accounting data and report project management trends

{=html} <!-- --> - Collects, coordinates, monitors, and tracks budgets and cost data with customers, subcontractors, and project team members to manage project forecast

{=html} <!-- --> - Conduct cost forecasting for contract modifications

{=html} <!-- --> - Initiates new contract setup within accounting system

{=html} <!-- --> - Prepares and sends invoices to various customers

Education & Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree and 3-5 years of experience providing financial analysis for large IT services contracts (Experience may be substituted for education.)

{=html} <!-- --> - Candidate must have outstanding oral and written communications skills.

{=html} <!-- --> - Must possess expertise in MS Excel

{=html} <!-- --> - Experience with JAMIS Prime ERP financial system is desired

{=html} <!-- --> - Experience with CPFF (Cost Plus Fixed Fee) is desired

• Travel to all managed sites may be required from time to time.

• This is primarily a remote position in the St. Louis metro area with the ability to attend team meetings as needed.

• Salary Range: \$65,000.00 - \$85,000.00

  The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate\'s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

  The posted range is appropriate for a typical candidate meeting, at a minimum, all the core requirements of the position.
