Job Title: Yard Loader Lead

Job Description

As a Yard Loader Lead, your responsibilities will involve performing and directing other yard personnel in the safe and accurate daily work activities involving the shipping, receiving and handling of product. You will interact with drivers and customers, representing our company in a friendly and courteous manner at all times. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required and will report directly to the Yard Supervisor and/or Yard Manager. Additional duties include maintaining yard housekeeping, promoting good customer service, managing CPU’s and RMA’s, and loading and unloading all deliveries.

Hard Skills

  • Use of MRP system

  • Conduct cycle-counts

  • Fulfill LTL shipments

  • Proper forklift and yard vehicle operation

  • Finished Goods quality inspections

  • Confirmation of customer orders (ASN)

  • Management of CPU’s and RMA’s

Soft Skills

  • Ability to direct daily work activities of yard personnel

  • Ability to communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to on-site Supervisor or Yard Mgr.

  • Ability to maintain and build job skills through company training programs

  • Ability to maintain paperwork and product transfers

Work Environment

This role operates in a warmer work environment with the extruder machines running 24/7. You must be comfortable with this setting and willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
