BUNZL Inside Sales Representative - Safety Products in Fairfield, Ohio

R3 Safety, a division of Bunzl, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our office in Fairfield, OH. This position is geared towards an individual that is highly motivated to cultivate new business opportunities within the safety products industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound telephone sales to increase sales through existing accounts, while also prospecting and building business with new accounts

  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Implement and manage pricing strategies within select accounts

  • Conduct online customer and market research to optimize lead generation

  • Utilize virtual programs (Teams, Zoom, etc.) to conduct sales calls and sales reviews

  • Work with manufacturers' representatives to sell promoted items

  • Attend sales meetings and meet with Sales Manager on a regular basis

  • Utilize all appropriate VIP (Dimensions of Professional Selling) techniques and methodologies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business a plus

  • 3+ years of telemarketing / customer sales experience preferred

  • Must have practical sales experience, preferably in at least one of the following markets: safety apparel, safety products or industrial/MRO supplies

  • Must be a go getter; able to work independently with minimal supervision and very strong at gaining interested clients by phone

  • Must possess outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers and outside parties

  • Exceptional analytical, organizational and verbal/written communication skills

  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel required

  • Experience with customer relationship management system highly desired

  • Ideal candidate will be very trainable and show ability to learn, master and present company value proposition

  • Has desire and aspiration to learn, train and develop outside sales position skills
