Senior Manager, Systems

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance across the Deltek suite of products including Costpoint, Time & Expense, Cognos, Cobra, and EPM.

  • Serve as a Cobra Subject Matter Expert for critical business functions in support of programs and projects.

  • Provide tools training to the Business Management/PP&C staff; provides guidance in Planning and supporting EVM FAR policies.

  • Assist with direction for the support, maintenance and monitoring of the solutions infrastructure. Functional scope will also cover report generation, tools standardization and sox's controls.

  • Collaborate with end-users, management, vendors, and IT colleagues across the organization to drive solutions and issue resolution.

  • Work hand in hand with technical POCs for the delivery of system solutions.

  • Support of Costpoint batch processing and issue resolution

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience in government contracting, equivalent experience in lieu of degree

  • Excellent in quantitative, analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills. Ability to quickly adapt, learn, and grow a must

  • Working knowledge of the SDLC Software Development Lifecycle/Lifecyle Project Management including requirements gathering, scheduling and planning, oversee development, testing and implementation, controls/compliance, and audit

  • PMP certification required in support of key implementations, special projects and leadership efforts

  • Experience with Program Control software such as Deltek Cobra.

  • Basic EVM knowledge preferred; knowledge of ANSI/EIA- 748A.

  • Experience with the relationship with scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera, MS Project, to support integration into Cobra.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint).

  • Report Template and SQL reporting knowledge, desired

  • Some evenings and weekend work will be required

  • Some travel required

  • US citizenship is required
