ManTech is seeking a Knowledge / Information Manager as part of a team of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) personnel supporting a DoD program that implements, operates, and manages coalition networks around the world. The team works with U.S. and foreign military intelligence organizations to create information sharing environments using highly specialized information technologies.
This is a highly visible career opportunity in Fairfax, VA and requires a TS/SCI Eligible clearance.
Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assessment (SETA) and subject matter expertise (SME) for delivering US BICES/US BICES-X intelligence information sharing capabilities and services to DoD and operational commanders on a global basis.
Assist the Program Office with the planning, execution and development of US BICES-X Enterprise Information Management / Knowledge Management processes.
Provide assistance, advice, and recommendations to the Program Office decision making process regarding globally, distributed IM/KM implementations on the US BICES-X Enterprise.
Research and validate extant and proven IM/KM solutions available in the commercial sector that might have utility in the US BICES-X Enterprise.
Recommend IM/KM solutions that are interoperable, achievable, and responsive to the flexibility required by the US BICES-X Enterprise within the established changed management processes of the Program Office.
Plan, monitor, analyze, and advise the BCO on the adequacy and effectiveness of the SharePoint baseline.
Translate business into SharePoint solutions.
Liaison between developers, end users, administrators, and others to work with projects.
Working with other contractors, coordinate for support, development and training issues.
Create documentation such as test cases, functional documents, technical documents, process flow charts, etc.
Provide program office front office support with regard to collaboration, communication, and coordination.
8 years or more of IM/KM experience. At least 5 of which must be in a military intelligence organization, and 3 of which must be in substantiated IM/KM activities at a major subcomponent level of the IC or in the intelligence elements of one of the CCMDs.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a professional teaming environment across multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Requires SharePoint experience above the user level.
SharePoint Analyst/Business Analyst experience preferred.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of BICES program a plus.
