The Worldwide Infusion Preparation and Delivery is a global $1.4B platform, focused on enabling safe, efficient, and effective preparation and delivery of infusion therapies across the continuum of care settings around the world.

Infusion Consumables portion of the portfolio is comprised of IV Access, Hazardous Drug Safety and OEM products and represents $0.5B in revenue.

About the role:

As Global Senior Marketing Director, Infusion Consumables, you will be accountable for front-end innovation (organic and inorganic), new product development, portfolio lifecycle management and regulatory compliance support activities, specifically focusing on developing and maintaining the simplified “winning” infusion delivery portfolio that addresses key customer needs and enables profitable business growth. This position will be reporting to VP/GM Infusion Preparation and Delivery and will be a member of WW Infusion Preparation and Delivery Leadership Team.

To achieve success, the Senior Director will need to effectively collaborate with other functions, such as R&D, Business Development, PMO, Quality, Regulatory, Integrated Supply Chain and be aligned with the downstream Commercial Excellence team on portfolio execution activities including regional product launches.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Optimize and proactively manage product portfolios, defining key strategic priorities and translating them into well-defined roadmaps and resourced projects that will meet and exceed customer expectations

  • Reinvigorate innovation strategy, challenging the current status quo, improving the front-end process and driving organic and inorganic projects to maintain the “evergreen” innovation funnel, demonstrating tangible impact and securing future platform growth

  • Supervise generation of actionable customer and market insights to inform platform strategy, portfolio prioritization and innovation and new product development activities

  • Define and implement portfolio lifecycle management process, including relevant governance and KPIs for sustaining and rationalization efforts to guarantee portfolio vitality

  • Drive continuous front-end and new product development process improvements, improve innovation agility and support innovation culture adoption across the organization

  • Collaborate with relevant functions in portfolio planning, innovation and product development, providing marketing inputs and influencing stakeholders to meet agreed upon project deliverables and platform goals; liaise with third party suppliers and vendors as required.

  • Communicate product roadmaps, general availability and end-of-life timing, as well as other key portfolio decisions effectively to regional and functional teams, striving to maximize commercial impact and improve customer satisfaction

About you

We are looking for an excellent global marketer, with strong new product development and portfolio lifecycle management experience developed within the Medical Devices industry. Key to success in this role will be the ability to work cross functionally and with geographically dispersed teams.

  • Preferred – working knowledge of business development concepts and M&A execution

Location and Travel

  • Eysins, Switzerland office

  • Travel up to 25% of the time for customer visits and internal meetings
