Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Director, Global Supply Chain Planning, the Associate Director, IBP & Planning Excellence is responsible for developing and leading the global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for the Pharmaceutical Systems Business Unit through effective coordination and facilitation with BU President, ISC, Platforms, Procurement, Quality, PMO, Finance and Supply Chain functions to continually achieve effective synchronization across the organization to deliver optimized demand, supply, capacity, and inventory plans over the IBP horizon to effectively support the BU’s customer experience and profitable growth.
Also, this position will be owning and driving planning excellence programs throughout end-to-end supply chain including but not limited to being process owner of demand and supply planning, global inventory deployment, owner of technology roadmap, etc.

About the role
As Associate Director, IBP and Planning Excellence you will have a key role in driving the success of our supply chain department. You will collaborate with top management and various functions to successfully implement our coordinated business planning process. Your leadership will impact the efficiency of our supply chain strategies, contributing to the financial performance of our Pharmaceutical Systems Business Unit.
Main responsibilities will include:
Driving and leading the worldwide Coordinated Business Planning (CBP) process for the Pharmaceutical Systems Business Unit.
Ensuring monthly IBP process cadence and flow of information between different steps.
Enabling and facilitating various IBP reviews, including Supply Review, Coordinated Reconciliation, and Management Business Review.
Partnering with the other supply chain planning teams to optimally drive the integrated planning processes including materials and finished good planning.
Preparing and conducting executive-level presentations to highlight assumptions, risks, opportunities, and supply scenarios.
Ensuring alignment between the Sales and Operations plans and consistency in financial forecast and budgeting.
Securing a robust performance management system to drive performance at the PS BU level by ensuring action-plans for performance improvement are defined and implemented, digitalization of performance management and developing Analytical Backbone to drive real time, agile and fact-based decision making and action deployment.
Establishing a connect between strategy and tactical plans to ensure successful deployment of supply chain strategies.
Drive inventory strategy in coordination with business and finance to secure it is aligned with all stages of product life cycle, cash ambitions of the organization, service level expectations etc.
Managing inventory deployment and driving continuous improvement for demand and supply planning processes.
Working alongside global supply chain peers to share industry-approved methods and implement process improvements.
Developing people while growing the business through the demonstration of our BD’s foundational manager expectations.
About you
You are a proven leader with a passion for supply chain excellence and a track record of driving performance improvements. You have:
12-15 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a global or IBP role.
Experience working in manufacturing operations and international matrix environments.
Proficiency with ECC, SCM (SAP), Power BI, and other common IT tools.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills in English; French or Spanish is a plus.
APICS certification or equivalent.
