Giving back is in our DNA-our team members across more than 50 sites globally are involved with hundreds of charities that have special meaning to them through our West Without Borders team member-led giving program.Job Summary:This role will lead and manage the overall Quality relationships with our long-term strategic partner Daikyo, as well as West Service providers, such as Fill Finish, Sterilization, Transportation, and Contract Analytical laboratories. Drives effective collaboration and coordinates Quality initiatives between West and Daikyo Quality departments. Develops partnerships with West service providers to drive efficiencies in service by improving processes, identifying areas for continuous improvement, address concerns and determine actions for resolution. This role requires you to be a good communicator and have interpersonal skills to effectively maintain strong relationships.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Act as a key liaison and subject matter expert supporting the Quality Daikyo-West relationship. Serve as point of contact for quality related issues and documentation review and approval.Work closely with Daikyo Quality to lead and facilitate Daikyo customer communications providing guidance on messaging.Collaborate and develop strategic Quality partnership with service providers to optimize performance which includes measuring and monitoring key performance metrics, trending applicable data and ensuring direct communication between Quality departments.Partners with Daikyo and Service providers in forward- thinking Quality strategic development and relationship building.Serve as escalation point of contact for Daikyo and Service providers performance issues and work with internal and external cross-functional resources to identify concerns and ensure timely resolution of issuesEstablish and lead Quality Review meetingsParticipate in negotiations for Quality Agreements and ensure compliance requirements are met.Establish and monitor key KPIs and develop and lead actionable plans to improve metrics.Maintain clear communication paths with stakeholders.As required, review, revise and approve operating procedures to ensure compliance with all related external requirements, internal procedures or instructions, and the West Quality Manual.Where required, establish and maintain communication strategies to inform interested parties and to meet customer expectations.Establish routine communication strategies for project tracking and prioritization.Drive continuous quality improvement projects across the enterprise for increased compliance and to create efficient use of company resources.Assure use of proper change management techniques associated with validated processes.Assure escalation of quality related issues to ensure effective remediation.Other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering, or commensurate experienceExperience: Minimum five (5) years in Quality Assurance / Quality Control.Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
