The basic purpose is to conduct technical activities according to operating procedures/protocols. Receives daily tasking assignments, under supervision. Functions as a member of work team by assisting others and promoting a team-oriented work environment. Performs all work in conformance with applicable regulations. Performs all work in a safe manner. Works within the laboratory or processing environment.Principal DutiesPerforms single skilled routine tasks; Works within established procedures with moderate a degree of supervision; Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete own work.Develops skills in basic tasks and procedures within one skill area; May use/handle potentially dangerous chemicals/materials and/or work with potentially hazardous industrial equipmentWorks with others as part of a teamCommunicates own work orally and in writing; As requested provides information/data to supervisor for internal reportReports and treats documentation/data with a high level of integrity and ethicsComplies with applicable regulations, performing all work in a safe manner; Maintains proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies; Identifies any observed regulatory and safety concerns to supervisors and team memberJob QualificationsHigh school education or equivalentAbility to operate laboratory/process equipment and apparatusExcellent MS Office SkillsAttention to Detail.Ability to learn new technical skills and conceptsConcise and accurate reporting of technical data and informationBasic written and verbal communication skillsAppropriate level of understanding of applicable regulationsMay require ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
