You have some SaaS, retail industry or ecommerce sales experience and can use this experience in your new role. You can execute on an end-to-end sales process that includes prospecting, qualifying, onboarding and account management. You have a network of industry colleagues and contacts that can be leveraged in your new role.

What you will do:

A successful Channel Development Consultant will effectively identify, qualify, and engage accounts at multiple levels and position GS1 US products, programs, and services as a solution to improve business processes and efficiencies for their business, their customers, their partners, and their industry.

Customer engagement could result in a variety of the following:

  • Prospecting and delivering information to accounts about how GS1 US can support them technically to help optimize their business.

  • Qualifying accounts that have the potential to integrate with GS1 US platforms and APIs.

  • Nurturing and upselling existing accounts with additional products, programs, and services.

  • Organizing and participating in creative sales campaigns that expose GS1 standards, products, programs, and services to wider audiences.

  • Introducing and getting an account involved with various GS1 US initiatives, programs, or pilots.
