Robert Half HR Generalist in Ewa Beach, Hawaii

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a skilled HR Generalist on the Leeward side. This role involves a wide range of human resources duties, including recruitment, onboarding, training, compensation and benefits administration, and payroll processing. Responsibilities:

• Manage the recruitment process, including creating job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding for new hires

• Administer compensation and benefits, ensuring accurate and timely distribution to employees

• Process payroll for a large number of employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to schedules

• Prepare and handle new hire paperwork and set up training programs for new employees

• Multi-task and work within a deadline-oriented environment, managing multiple HR projects simultaneously

• Use HR and payroll software to keep accurate records and generate reports

• Address employee queries concerning benefits, payroll, and company HR policies

• Liaise with the HR Manager to ensure all HR operations are carried out in compliance with legal requirements

Requirements • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a similar industry.

• Deep understanding of Human Resource functions and best practices.

• Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.

• Proficient in using HR software and databases for payroll processing and benefits administration.

• Experience managing payroll for under 100 employees.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.

• Strong decision-making and judgment skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Commitment to staying informed about the latest trends and changes in HR compliance regulations.
