WATTS Area Sales Manager in Evry, France

BLÜCHER, which belongs to the Watts Water Group (USA), is looking for an Area Sales Manager.

Responsibilities and missions

As a Sales Manager, your first mission will be to quickly become a technical reference for floor drainage applications with multiple stakeholders in both the construction and process industries. You will act as a technical advisor to the key players in the purchasing process while developing business in your region.

You will need to be comfortable dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, regardless of their culture and scope of expertise.

You will promote and sell solutions through the credibility of your approach and justify the strategic and economic positioning of the BLUCHER Offer to customers.

You will also be responsible for:

o Taking charge of the entire sales process with the stakeholders: plumbers-HVAC, structural work, flooring companies, ... but also the interlocutors of the food industry in your region

o To assist and act during technical meetings and in particular worksite meetings.

o To act with recurrence with the Global Key Accounts of the food and beverage industries.

o To have a permanently updated knowledge of the projects of the Global Key Accounts of your Region.

o To report daily on all your actions and perspectives.

You will become a member of the BLUCHER France team, based in Lisses (91), but you will work in home-office for the preparation and reporting of your field action. Reminder: You already live in the region and this criterion is essential.

Required education

This recruitment is open to juniors who have recently graduated or/and trainee have some experience.

This position requires a minimum qualification of 3 years of higher education, such as a business school diploma: Sales, CR, negotiation or marketing and management for MBA graduates.

The candidate will have to justify a work-study program in a commercial function and demonstrate the acquired competence.

Skills

To succeed in this position, it is important to have real experience in sales and project management in an industrial company. You will work in a highly independent manner but you must also appreciate contexts where teamwork becomes essential to success.

You are:

o Very comfortable in contact and building healthy relationships with customers and other stakeholders.

o Pro-business oriented and you know how to manage a project from A to Z: from lead to conclusion.

o Able to convey relevant information on the value of the solutions offered both strategically and economically to clients.

o Structured, you know how to organize and manage several missions

o Available and organized to report in real time on your activity on a CRM support

o Responsible, open to others and an excellent listener.

In addition, we are looking for this position:

o An oral practice of the English language (verified), which will be a real plus for the candidate who could then participate in meetings and training in English.

o Demonstrable experience in 1 to 1 sales presentations to customers.

o Daily use of ERP and CRM tools, especially SalesForce.

o Sincerity, open-mindedness and a good sense of humor.

In this position you will be required to travel weekly according to the following weekly schedule

  • 1 to 2 days in home office

  • 3 to 4 days with clients

By travel and by the regional character of the function, it is understood that there is a weekly and frequent possibility of nights away from home.

This schedule is under the responsibility and discretion of the direct manager who indicates the instructions according to the strategy, the necessities and the periods.
