Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description
The mechanical engineer will be focused on internal capital equipment initiatives focused on each of the following areas.
Keep the plant running .
Execution of capital plan .
Continuous improvement of assets .
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical design work, including drawings and calculations, for the repair or improvement of CapEx.
Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems to restore equipment as required.
Conduct technical calculations and analyses to enhance operational processes.
Manage projects involving both internal and external resources to complete assigned tasks.
Develop standards and process documentation through technical writing.
Ensure all employees adhere to safety procedures and rules, driving a culture of safety.
Essential Skills
Mechanical engineering experience 3-5+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar can packages
Strong mechanical design skills and hands-on troubleshooting abilities. Need someone who is a strong problem solver.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Project management experience.
Technical writing skills for developing standards and documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with a GPA above 3.0.
Technically oriented hobbies (e.g., car buff, 3D printing, etc.) are a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00
